Duane “Dog” Chapman has been hospitalized after suffering a “heart emergency.”
The Dog the Bounty Hunter star is awaiting news on whether or not the medical issue will require surgery.
Chapman reportedly felt pain in his chest over the weekend (Sept. 14-15) and was taken to a hospital near his Colorado home. While TMZ does not classify the incident as a heart attack, they do note that it “might” have been one. Doctors are performing tests to determine exactly what occurred, and if Chapman will need a corrective surgery because of the incident.
“I can confirm Dog is under doctor’s care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep ’em coming,” the realty star’s rep says.
It’s been a tough year for Chapman and his family: The TV star bounty hunter’s wife Beth died in late June, following a battle with cancer.
Best wishes Dog from Hot Country 1035!
