Wake up and smell the mac and cheese?
In the US, Kraft Heinz has announced it will re-brand its Macaroni and Cheese Dinner by adding the word “breakfast” to the iconic blue box.
The company says Americans have been eating at home more during the COVID-19 pandemic. Plus, according to their press release, “56% of parents have served their kids Kraft Mac & Cheese for breakfast more often during coronavirus lockdowns than previous months.”
KHC even suggests topping the cheesy noodles with breakfast foods such as crumbled bacon, sausage, or scrambled eggs.
Does that mean if re-branding happens in Canada, “KD” would become “KB”?
And would you eat Kraft Dinner for breakfast?
