The QMJHL has postponed six regular season games set for this weekend.
Following meetings with government and public health officials of the three provinces of the Maritimes Division, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has announced the postponement of the games.
Meanwhile, the league will continue its constructive dialogue with the three provinces to resume playing as soon as possible.
Two Halifax Mooseheads games are impacted by the announcement, one in Moncton on Friday and another was to be played here in Moose Country against Bathurst on Saturday.
The Q League says an updated schedule will be published by the end of this week.
There haven’t been any QMJHL games since November 20th when the league paused the season due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.
