It was 100 years ago today the original Bluenose was launched down in Lunenburg.
The majestic image of the Bluenose has adorned the Canadian dime since 1937 as well is on three postage stamps and of course is on our Nova Scotia license plates and know worldwide as a Canadian icon!
There’ll be a “Bluenose 100 Evening Livestream Celebration” with other ceremonies today starting at 10 am and going through the day and night.
