RCMP have charged two people after seizing drugs and a weapon during a traffic stop in Eastern Passage last Thursday.
Police say the driver’s licence had been revoked and a baton was located in the vehicle near his feet while he was being arrested on Main Road.
The Mounties say they seized cocaine, heroin, cash, illegal cigarettes, and drug trafficking paraphernalia from a female passenger.
The 29-year-old Halifax man has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and he was issued a ticket for driving while revoked.
The 32-year-old Dartmouth woman is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They’re both set to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court in July.
