RCMP are investigating a report of men armed with guns in North Preston on the weekend.
Police received a 911 call that three men were carrying guns and were running into the woods near Alex Lane just before midnight on Sunday.
RCMP responded to the area immediately along with a Halifax Regional Police K-9 team.
The Mounties say the preliminary investigation has not found any evidence to support the complaint.
