Much of Nova Scotia remains under a heat warning on Tuesday.
In the Halifax area, temperatures are expected to reach 33 degrees.
Environment Canada is predicting cooler temperatures along parts of the coast. Temperatures will turn cooler over all areas on Tuesday night.
Heat warnings are issued when conditions could cause heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
The national weather forecaster recommends checking on older family, friends, and neighbours to ensure they keep cool and are drinking water.
Environment Canada also cautions Nova Scotians to never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle during warm weather.
