Police have charged a 38-year-old woman with impaired driving offenses after a single vehicle crash near Windsor.
West Hants RCMP say officers responded to the accident on Highway 1 in Garlands Crossing Wednesday, and found the woman and a child near the scene.
They say the woman showed signs of impairment, failed a roadside screening test and was arrested.
Police say she was tested again at the detachment, and was four times the legal limit.
She faces charges of Impaired Operation of a Conveyance, Operating a Conveyance with a Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80 mg%, and Fail to Provide Necessities – Endanger Life.
They say the child wasn’t injured and was put into the care of a “responsible person.”
