Nova Scotia reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, including nine in Central Zone.
Health officials say six are close contacts of previously reported cases, one is under investigation, and two cases are related to travel.
One of the cases has been connected to Rocky Lake Junior High in Bedford. Officials say that school will be closed until Wednesday.
There is limited community spread in Central Zone.
The province also announced 16 recoveries.
Nova Scotia has 140 active cases of COVID-19, with 10 people in hospital, including six in ICU.
