RCMP are investigating after they say three homes were recently broken into in Black Point and Hubbards.
Two break and enters occurred at properties on Fryday Road sometime between Saturday and Monday.
Police say someone gained entry to one residence after damaging a door, and an electric bike was taken from a locked shed in the yard. It’s a blue Hyper Electric 700c unisex bike.
A door was forced open at another residence on the street, which is currently vacant and empty.
The Mounties add a home was broken into on St. Margaret’s Bay Road sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday after access was gained through an unlocked basement door.
RCMP have also received reports of break and enters at properties near the Rails to Trail system.
They’re reminding residents to make sure their doors are locked and valuables are kept out of sight.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020 or Crime Stoppers.
