Former Halifax Mooseheads Coach Dom Ducharme and the Montreal Canadiens beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2 in overtime last night.
The Habs avoided the sweep as Josh Anderson opened and closed the scoring with the OT winner.
Carey Price kept Montreal in the game making 32 saves, Tampa had a few “post dingers” that saw 3,500 fans in the stands with thousands more in a sea of red, white and blue outside the downtown Montreal rink.
Tampa Bay still lead the series 3-1 with game 5 Wednesday night back in Florida when the Stanley Cup will once again be in the house.
The Habs are 4 and 0 when facing elimination, so could they pull off a miracle? Stay tuned!
