Police are investigating a dog attack that occurred in Halifax Tuesday.
At approximately 4:45 p.m. police responded to Evans Avenue in Halifax in relation to a youth who had been attacked by three dogs. The youth was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly thereafter one the dogs attacked another youth in the area. EHS treated the youth at the scene. An officer was also attacked but was not injured.
Animal Services has taken custody of the three dogs and is continuing the investigation.
