Police are investigating after a delivery driver was shot at in Dartmouth Saturday.
Halifax Regional Police say officers were in the area on an unrelated call shortly before midnight when they heard multiple gunshots coming from Catherine Street and Lahey Road.
They say officers went to investigate the gunfire and were flagged down by by a take-out delivery driver on Albro Lake Road.
The driver told them he was making a delivery on Lahey Road when a group of three or four teens came over to him and fired a gun at him, hitting his vehicle multiple times, before running off.
The driver wasn’t injured.
Police say they found another vehicle and residence had been hit by stray bullets, but no one was home at the time.
They say they don’t believe the suspects and victim were known to each other.
