Halifax Regional Police say three people have been arrested after a driver reported a gun was pointed at them in downtown Halifax yesterday morning.
The driver flagged police down just after 7 a.m. and reported the incident that had occurred near Queen and Sackville Streets.
He was able to point out the vehicle, which police stopped and made the arrests.
HRP says a replica handgun, a sensory irritant spray, and prohbited knife were located.
Two men, a 51-year-old and a 29-year-old, as well as a 34-year-old woman, all from Halifax, have each been charged with three counts of possessing a weapon dangerous to the public.
The investigation is continuing and police say further charges may be pending.
