A Lower Sackville man is facing charges following a theft investigation.
Kings District RCMP were called to the parking lot of a New Minas restaurant just before midnight on Sunday after receiving a complaint that someone was playing a guitar outside a vehicle.
Police determined the guitar player’s vehicle was stolen and he had stolen property. He also had outstanding warrants from Halifax.
The 48-year-old was arrested and has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5,000 as well as breach of a release order.
He has been transferred into the custody of Halifax Regional Police to deal with the outstanding warrants.
