Halifax District RCMP arrested 24 people for impaired driving last month.
The police force issued more than 500 charges under the Motor Vehicle Act.
They say nineteen of those drivers were charged with alcohol impaired driving.
RCMP issued several summary offence tickets:
- 170 for speeding
- 11 for stunting
- 142 for other aggressive driving
- 34 for distracted driving
- 55 for unlicensed/suspended or revoked driving
- 149 for other Motor Vehicle Act offences
The Mounties remind residents to report dangerous driving to police, including the location and description of the vehicle along with the driver as well as where it was heading.
