Nearly 700 cases of COVID-19 have been linked to Nova Scotia’s schools since the pandemic began.
The Nova Scotia Teachers Union has posted a freedom of information record to social media from the province’s Department of Health and Wellness.
It summarizes all potential exposure locations of positive COVID-19 cases from March 2020 to the end of April 2021.
The NSTU says schools represented the highest number of potential exposures at public spaces.
According to a FOI release available on-line, there were 694 cases of COVID-19 cases identified at primary/secondary schools in NS between March 1, 2020 & April 29, 2021.
