The Black Lives Matter murals in Halifax and Dartmouth are getting a fresh coat of paint.
The giant yellow words were painted on Brunswick Street and on Alderney Drive last September to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
This came after similar designs popped up across North America following the death of Geroge Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer.
HRM has hired contractors to carry out the work this week.
