A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after a hit and run in the city on Wednesday night.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the collision at Robie and Pepperell Street just after 9:30 p.m.
Police were told the vehicle didn’t stop after hitting the pedestrian, but they were able to track down the driver and make an arrest thanks to help from witnesses.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital. Police do not know the extent of their injuries at this time.
Traffic was shutdown in the area for several hours as investigators processed the scene.
