Halifax is under a severe thunderstorm watch.
Environment Canada says that means we could be in for a big down pour later today.
The system could also bring gusty winds and even hail.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
