Why is Forman called FORMAN?

Yes, “Forman” is just a nickname.

I acquired it in high school, again in college with a whole new set of people, and again on the radio! It has become such a “thing” that there are plenty of people in my life who simply wouldn’t know my real name.

So, why “Forman?”
