Did you know you can vote early at any Nova Scotia poll up until August 14th?
I live in Hubley but there is the Dartmouth East voting office now set up across from our radio station studios here at 100 Main Street in Dartmouth, so I popped in there this morning and cast my vote. All you need is a piece of ID, I used my Drivers License.
I was in and out in about four minutes and it’s all set up safely with COVID-19 protocols in place and you get to keep the voting pencil!
The 41st Provincial Nova Scotia Election is Tuesday, August 17th that happens to be our 30th wedding anniversary, so my wife and I will be busy doing “other things” that day…
Elections Nova Scotia says just over 20,000 votes have been cast in early polls, that’s nearly three times as many votes cast at this point in the last election.
