Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was assaulted and robbed in the city on Wednesday.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the robbery on Claremont Street near Windsor Street at around 11 a.m.
They say a woman in her sixties was pushed to the ground and assaulted by another woman who stole her wallet before running away.
She went north on Claremont Street, crossing Connolly Street.
The suspect is described as white, with a slim build, about 25-years-old, with blonde hair that was worn in a short ponytail.
She was dressed in a white shirt, jeans, and had a black mask covering her face.
