I made O negative blood donation number 38 yesterday at the Canadian Blood Services over on Bayers Road in Halifax.
My time was 5:29, my record is 5:28 so I have to settle for Silver here during the Summer Olympics.
Thanks to Nurses Kelly, Darlene and Lorie for making it quick and painless.
To make a donation of about 450 ml of blood, it takes less than an hour of your time and you can help save three lives!
Due to summer vacations, there is an urgent need for all blood types, especially O Negative with 1,700 appointments across Canada to be filled.
