Halifax Regional Police say one person has been sent to hospital after a crash on St. Margaret’s Bay Road.
Police were called to the collision in the 600 block at around 9 a.m. on Thursday.
HRP says a vehicle hit a power pole, which caused it to fall onto the street.
The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
St. Margaret’s Bay Road is now closed between Quarry Road and Walter Havill Drive.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
