Our own Sidney Crosby is turning 34 tomorrow! It seems like yesterday he had his first Stanley Cup Parade here in Cole Harbour twelve years ago back in 2009 on his 22nd birthday!
What a great day that was at Cole Harbour Place! Our family was there to witness history.
The day started off cloudy when the crowd started to gather, then the sun came out as Sid arrived with the Stanley Cup, it was a perfect script.
Our son Trent was ten at the time and was determined to get Sid to autograph his hat, he eventually got # 87 to sign it.
Mama Bear Roxanne (in yellow) closely watches on.
Thanks Sidney! The other autograph was from Sid’s Pens teammate Max Talbot who was in town.
For trivia sakes, Sidney wears # 87 because he was born in the 8th month on the 7th day in 1987.
I hear Sid’s home these days, so a happy early birthday from all of us here in Crosby Country and Hot Country 1035!
