Halifax Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint in the city overnight.
A caller reached out to police at around 2 a.m. to say he was being robbed by a man who had a gun near the intersection of Barrington and Sackville Streets.
Officers arrested the suspect, who was found with a firearm and knife. The caller wasn’t hurt.
The 37-year-old Halifax man is facing charges of robbery with a firearm, firearms offences, and breach of conditions. He’s being held for court.
