You’ll need to be double vaxxed if you’re heading to NSCAD this fall.
It’s the latest school in Halifax to require students to have rolled up their sleeves twice before heading to class.
NSCAD says its recent survey on vaccines shows most students and staff already have both shots.
“90% of respondents are fully vaccinated, and 95% of respondents are committed to being fully vaccinated by the fall term. The survey results indicate a significantly higher percentage of our community is vaccinated than the general population in the province (about 70%), which is very good news for keeping our campuses safe.”
The school will require proof of vaccination or regular COVID-19 testing results.
If you haven’t received both doses of the vaccine, you’ll have to be tested twice every week.
NSCAD will host a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic on September 10th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Art Bar +Projects on Granville Street.
