A new Narrative Research poll shows health care and housing are the most important issues to you in this federal election.
Roughly 20 per cent of people in the Atlantic region say health care is the biggest issue they are focused on while housing is second.
Atlantic Canada is the only region in our country to list housing in their top two issues.
Other places rank health care the highest as well, but the economy, and COVID-19 is second in many provinces.
Results are from an online survey conducted July 13-15, with 1,231 Canadians 18 years of age or older. Results are from an online survey conducted August 24-26, with 1,233 Canadians 18 years of age or older from the Logit Group’s Canadian Omnibus.
Key highlights:
• Unaided, the COVID-19 pandemic is mentioned most often as the most important issue in the upcoming federal election.
• When asked to rate the degree of importance of several key issues, healthcare is ranked most important, followed by the economy and the COVID-19 pandemic. Transportation is of less importance to Canadians.
