Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 at various locations in Halifax.
Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public.
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION (there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public):
If you were present at any of the following locations on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- The Mercantile Social (1579 Hollis St., Halifax) on September 14 between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 28.
- 5 Social (1740 Argyle St., Halifax) on September 11 between 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. (on September 12). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 26.
- The Den (2182 Gottingen St., Halifax) on September 11 between 11:30 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. (on September 12). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 28.
- Midtown-Boomers Tavern & Lounge (1744 Grafton St., Halifax) on September 12 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 28.

- Pint Public House (1575 Argyle St., Halifax) on September 15 between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 29.

- September 15 between 8:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. (on September 16)
- September 16 between 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
- It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 30.
- The Dome (1739 Grafton St., Halifax) on September 16 between 10:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. on September 17. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- Pacifico (5171 George St., Halifax) on September 16 between 9:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. (on September 17). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- The Alehouse (1717 Brunswick St., Halifax) on September 17 between 12:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- Hide + Seek (1737 Grafton St., Halifax) on September 17 between 9:30 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. (on September 18). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 2.
- Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards – Restaurant (11143 Evangeline Trail, Wolfville) on September 15 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 29.
- The Church Brewing Company (329 Main St., Wolfville) on September 15 between 7:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 29.
- The Naked Crepe (406 Main St., Wolfville) on September 17 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION (the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19):
