Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 at various locations in the Halifax area and on three flights.
Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public.
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at any of the following locations or were on the following flight on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- East Coast Surf School (4348 Lawrencetown Rd., East. Lawrencetown) on September 12 between 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 26.
- Harbour Fish N’ Fries (7886 Highway 7, Musquodoboit Harbour) on September 12 between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 26.
- Tempo Food + Drink (1875 Barrington St., Halifax) on September 12 between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 26.
- Lower Deck Halifax (1887 Upper Water St., Halifax) on September 12 between 8:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (on September 13). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 27.
- Halifax Alehouse (1717 Brunswick St., Halifax) on
- September 17 between 10:30 p.m. and 2:45 a.m. (on September 18)
- September 18 between 10:30 p.m. and 2:45 a.m. (on September 19)
- It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 3.
- 5 Social (1740 Argyle St, Halifax) on September 18 between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (on September 19). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 3.
- Thai Express (325 Prince Street, Sydney) on September 17 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- Flair Airlines 8307 travelling on September 11 from Ottawa (7:00 a.m.) to Halifax (9:30 a.m.). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, September 25.
Please note: This is a precaution exposure notification for all passengers and staff on board this flight on the above-mentioned date and times.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at the following location or were on the following flights in the specified rows and seats on the named date and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.
- The Den Nightclub (2182 Gottingen St., Halifax) on September 17 between 9:15 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. (on September 18). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 2.
- Air Canada 604 travelling on September 17 from Toronto (7:55 a.m.) to Halifax (10:55 a.m.) Passengers in rows 24-28, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- Air Canada 8810 travelling on September 17 from Halifax (11:45 a.m.) to Sydney (12:54 p.m.) Passengers in rows 8-14, seats C, D and F. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
