Health officials are advising of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in Eastern, Western, and Central Zones and on two flights.
Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public.
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at any of the following locations for at least 15 minutes on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- The Anne Simpson Building (39 Recreation Rd., River Bourgeois) on September 22 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.
- Hearthstone Inn Port Hawkesbury – dining area (388 NS-4, Port Hastings) on September 25 between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.
- Benjamin Bridge Winery (1966 White Rock Rd, Wolfville) on September 25 between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.
- Grand Pré Winery (11611 Evangeline Trail, Grand Pré) on September 25 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.
- McDonalds (64 Kiltearn Row, Dartmouth Crossing) on September 26 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at the following location or on the following flights in the specified rows and seats on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Get Air Trampoline Park (612 Windmill Rd., Dartmouth) on September 17 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 1.
- Air Canada 604 travelling on September 21 from Toronto (7:55 a.m.) to Halifax (10:55 a.m.). Passengers in rows 21-27, seats C, D, E and F. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 5.
- WestJet 392 travelling on September 23 from Edmonton (10:30 p.m.) to Halifax (6:26 a.m. on September 24). Passengers in rows 8-14, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 8.
Health official ask that you get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location.
