The Halifax Mooseheads open the regular QMJHL season tonight on the road in Cape Breton.
The Eagles will then fly into Moose Country to play the Herd for their Home Opener tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7 at the Scotiabank Centre.
Your Mooseheads will have a strong corps of players led by NHL Draft picks Elliot Desnoyers of the Philadelphia Flyers, Zach L’Heureux from the Nashville Predators, Bobby Orr of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Valley’s Cam Whynot of the Calgary Flames, while a talented young group of supporting players make the Mooseheads a dangerous team in the Maritimes Division!
The Herd is now permitted to host games at full capacity once again of 10,595.
Proof of full vaccination will be required and masks are mandatory for Saturday’s Home Opener.
I’m excited to start my 25th season as the Mooseheads Public Address Announcer.

Go Moose Go!
