Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 on several Halifax Transit routes and on one Air Canada flight.
Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at any of the following locations for at least 15 minutes on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 27 between 6:15 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 11.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Dalhousie University to Lacewood Terminal on September 27 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 11.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 28 between 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Dalhousie University to Lacewood Terminal on September 28 between 5:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 29 between 6:15 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 13.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 29 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 13.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Dalhousie University to Lacewood Terminal on September 29 between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 13.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 30 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 14.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Dalhousie University to Lacewood Terminal on September 30 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 14.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on October 1 between 6:15 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 15.
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Dalhousie University to Lacewood Terminal on October 1 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 15.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at the following location or on the following flights in the specified rows and seats on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.

• Air Canada 608 travelling on September 25 from Toronto (10:03 a.m.) to Halifax (1:14 p.m.). Passengers in rows 18-24, seats C, D and F. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.
