I was in yesterday to Canadian Blood Services on Bayers Road to make O Negative donation number 39 since 2014.
It takes less than an hour to donate and you can help save three lives, plus the treats at the end are a nice reward!
As we prepare to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, Canadian Blood Services is encouraging residents of Halifax Regional Municipality to keep patients in need of blood products in mind.
Hospital patients are grateful for Canadians who take the time to donate blood, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On this Thanksgiving, Monday, October 11th, there are many open appointments to fill at donation events that run at Canadian Blood Services Donor Centre at 7071 Bayers Road in Halifax from 3:00pm – 7:00pm with over 60 appointments to fill.
Also at Christ the King Parish at 320 Flying Cloud Drive, Dartmouth from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, and 5:00pm – 8:00pm this Monday.
