Burger lovers get ready, your favourite time of the year is back.
Halifax Burger Week officially kicks off in Halifax on Thursday.
Local restaurants are offering up their most delicious creations for your taste buds, and all for a good cause.
Proceeds from each burger you buy at participating restaurants will go to Feed Nova Scotia.
You can peruse the online menu to track the spots you want to visit.
The non-profit says every $2 raised by restaurants allows it to distribute three meals worth of donated food to Nova Scotians.
The event has raised more than $560,000 over the past eight years.
Nova Scotia has the highest rate of food insecurity among Canada’s provinces.
Burger Week runs until October 23rd.
