Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in the Halifax area.
Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at any of the following locations or on the following transit routes on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Five Guys (212 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax) on October 6 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 20.
- Mosaic Church (28 Willet Street, Halifax) on October 10 between 10:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 24.
- Kings Transit Route #001 (Grand Pre to Greenwood) on October 12 between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 26.
