Anyone who’s moderately to severely immunocompromised, or is taking immunosuppressants, can book a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine starting Tuesday.
That includes people being treated for cancer, who’ve had an organ or stem cell transplant, or are HIV positive.
You’ll be required to provide a list of medications and other supporting documents to prove you are immunocompromised.
That information will be reviewed at the vaccination clinic.
People who need to travel for work will also be able get a third dose.
It’s open to people who received mixed doses. A number of counties will not accept mixed doses when allowing visitors to skip isolation.
In order to get the third shot, you’ll have to provide written confirmation from your employer that you are required to travel to a country that doesn’t accept mixed doses.
Work-related shots cannot be booked online or by phone, you must apply by email.
