If you’re rolling up to the pumps in Halifax this morning, you’ll notice the cost of gas is up again.
The minimum price of regular self-serve saw a more than 2 cent per litre increase overnight to $1.44.
Since September 24th, gas has climbed 11 cents per litre.
The price of Diesel is up by 3.5 cents per litre to $1.42.
Unfortunately, we might have to get use to rising prices due to an international energy resource shortage that has been paired with a surging demand.
It’s been causing issues around the globe, with the average price of gas in Canada is at $1.45 a litre.
Oil prices have moved into the $80 range. Canadian select oil is heading towards $83 a barrel.
