Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 in the Dartmouth area.
They’ve also released a correction to the precaution notification for the HS Studio Salon Spa issued on October 16th.
Public Health now sends out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
- Woodlawn Public Library (31 Eisener Blvd., Dartmouth) on October 9 between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 23.
- Subway (650 Portland St., Dartmouth) on October 9 between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 23.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
- *CORRECTION*: HS Studio Salon Spa (7004 Mumford Road, Halifax) on October 8 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and October 9 from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 23.
