An investigation is underway into a crash near two busy city streets on Monday night.
Halifax Regional Police were in the area near Oxford and Almon Streets for another investigation when they say the suspect vehicle tried to get away at around 9 p.m.
It hit a car and crashed into a street light.
Police say they had to run after the driver, but managed to arrest them.
Two people were treated by EHS for minor injuries.
Oxford Street has been shut down between Edinburgh and Almon Streets. Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Nova Scotia Power is on scene.
