You’re going to want to grab your umbrella when you leave your home on Tuesday.
Halifax is about to get hit with wet and windy weather.
Environment Canada is out with a special weather statement for the region along with Digby, Lunenburg, and Annapolis counties.
The national weather forecaster is predicting up to 50 mm of rain will fall over the next two days.
The messy weather will start on Tuesday afternoon before tapering off on Thursday morning.
The forecaster warns the rainfall will be heavy and paired with high winds, gusting up to 80 along the coast, which could mean power outages.
Environment Canada recommends you keep storm drains clear of leaves to prevent flooding.
