Will you be opening your doors for trick-or-treaters this year?
A new poll suggests most of us in the Atlantic region aren’t afraid to hand out candy to ghouls and goblins despite the pandemic.
The Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies survey has found 63 per cent of people polled in Atlantic Canada plan to dish out treats.
Meantime, 100 per cent of parents surveyed, who let their kids knock on doors last year, intend to go trick-or-treating again this weekend.
So how do we stack up when compared to the nation as a whole?
The study has found 93 per cent of Canadians who had kids trick-or-treat last year plan to stop by doorsteps again.
However, only 44 per cent say they’re comfortable handing out candy to kids.
The online poll was carried out October 22nd to 24th and surveyed 1,512 Canadians.
Leger says it cannot be assigned a margin of error because internet-based polls are not considered random samples.
