Health officials are advising of potential exposure to COVID-19 in the Halifax area.
Public Health sends out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at the following location on the named date and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Nova Scotia Islamic Community Centre (2141 Larry Uteck Blvd., Bedford) on October 19 between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 2.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at the following location on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Nova Scotia Islamic Community Centre (2141 Larry Uteck Blvd., Bedford) on
- October 20 between 12:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
- October 21 between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. (all day)
- October 22 between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. (all day)
- It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 5.
