The capital plan for healthcare put forward by the previous Liberal government will go forward.
This coming from Yarmouth MLA Zach Churchill, who says Health and Wellness Minister Michelle Thompson confirmed the province will move forward with the captial plan by tabling a document in the house.
Churchill says he’s pleased the PC’s are going through with the plan.
“You of course get nervous when you work on big projects as a minister that, when you’re defeated, the next government won’t follow through on those projects,” says Churchill. “I was very pleased to receive confirmation from the current health minister.”
Churchill currently serves as the opposition critic for health and wellness.
He first put the question of whether the province will go through with the plan in the house’s question period Tuesday.
