Fully vaccinated travelers won’t need a negative COVID-19 test to enter the US.
Land borders and ferry terminals are set to reopen November 8th.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas announced the rules for non-essential travelers Friday.
“We are pleased to take another step toward easing travel restrictions at our borders in a manner that strengthens our economy and protects the health and safety of the American public,” he said.
You will have to prove you’ve had two shots of vaccine to come into the United States.
The border was closed to non-essential travel early in the early days of the pandemic, in March 2020.
