While out for a bike ride the other night I came across this lovely lady sitting alone on a bench outside of Pier 21.
She startled me at first as I thought she was real. As I got closer, I discovered that she was a piece of art based on a wonderful woman who was the driving force behind The Canadian Immigration Museum at Pier 21.
Naturally, I wanted to know more. So I made a phone call and had a great chat with Joy.
