Gary Burrill stepping down as NDP leader

NDP Leader Gary Burrill is stepping down.

It comes only two months after his party was unsuccessful in the last election in winning more seats.

Burrill has held the party leadership since 2016 and is the MLA for Halifax Chebucto.
