Via Rail has announced it’s introducing a second weekly round-trip for “The Ocean” route.
Starting December 8th, trains will roll out of the city on Wednesdays and Sundays. Return trips launch four days later.
It’s part of Via Rail’s plans to gradually return to full service.
The Ocean offers Sleeper Plus and Economy Class cars for the 1,346-kilometre journey that includes stops in Moncton, Truro, and Miramichi.
A third weekly round-trip is set to be introduced in June 2022.
Passengers over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated.
