Police issued a province-wide warrant for Aaron John Kehoe, 44, of Windsor, Thursday.
RCMP say Kehoe sent threatening text messages and emails to his ex-girlfriend, and threatened to hurt her current boyfriend Tuesday.
Officers responded to the victim’s vehicle on fire Wednesday near Vaughan, West Hants.
Police searched the woods on Hwy. 14 for Kehoe. RCMP Air Services, RCMP Police Dog Services, and All Terrain Vehicles were called to assist, but they were unable to find him.
Kehoe is charged with arson and two counts of uttering threats.
Officers took Kehoe into custody Friday.
